Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts | Weekdays with rotating weekends (approximately every 3rd weekend) | Shift times vary: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Perform IV admixture and IV pharmacy compounding in an inpatient setting
• Manage and review drug interactions and support antibiotic stewardship programs
• Process and verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Support patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) management
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, licensing requirements, and background standards — no exceptions

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacist license in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Epic proficiency required — no exceptions
• No prior license or background hits will be considered — no exceptions
• Must have a permanent address of at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (applies to RN candidates; allied positions may be considered for candidates within 50 miles)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel assignment experience
• Chemotherapy experience
• Anticoagulation management and pharmacokinetic dosing
• Renal dosing experience
