Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Transplant RN for an ambulatory setting requiring 2+ years of organ transplant experience and MA RN licensure.

Details

• Outpatient/ambulatory transplant clinic setting
• Pediatric transplant patient population
• Focus on pre- and post-transplant care, including lung transplant candidates and recipients
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), Monday through Friday
• No weekends or holidays required
• Uses Epic charting system
• RN works independently within the transplant team

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of organ transplant experience required
• Pediatric and lung transplant experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required, verified from 2 of the last 3 places worked at different facilities

• Coordinates and monitors post-transplant patient care and progress
• Conducts pre-transplant evaluations and assessments
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates without prior travel experience may be considered
