Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PCU/Surgical Stepdown position requiring float experience and every other weekend rotation on night shift.

Details

• PCU/Surgical Stepdown unit caring for stepdown-level patients
• 12-hour night shift schedule
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required to other campuses (Lake Placid, Wauchula) and to other in-hospital units housing PCU patients, such as ED holding/ETC

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• PCU or Surgical Stepdown nursing experience required
• COVID vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care for stepdown-level patients requiring close monitoring following surgery or acute illness
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates
• No radius rule for this position
• Returning permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days to return as a traveler
