Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU/Surgical Stepdown RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active FL or compact RN license and floating to multiple campuses.

Details

• PCU/Surgical Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
• Cares for PCU-level patients, including ED holding/ETC patients
• 12-hour night shift schedule
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required to other units within the hospital as well as to campuses in Lake Placid and Wauchula

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• COVID-19 vaccination card (two doses) or approved declination required for consideration
• Prior PCU or stepdown nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to progressive/stepdown level patients across multiple units and campuses
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate
• No radius rule for this position
• Permanent employees must be separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
