• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: May float to Telemetry or Med-Surg when overstaffed
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU, Stepdown, Telemetry, or related acute-care nursing experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong experience titrating and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Comfortable caring for cardiac and telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute-care setting
• Available to work every other weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU and stepdown patients with cardiac and medical-surgical needs
• Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips according to unit protocols
• Care for patients with CHF, Afib RVR, chest pain, post-cath needs, and related conditions
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary support services
• Float as needed to support Telemetry or Med-Surg units when assigned
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment for every patient
