Travel to Spokane, WA for a rewarding PCU Registered Nurse assignment in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit. • Shift: 12-hour day shifts

• Schedule: Every other weekend required

• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:3-4
• Float Requirement: May float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units if overstaffed
• Orientation: 12 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Compact license in hand at time of submission, when applicable
• At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience required
• PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or similar high-acuity nursing experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Epic experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias preferred
• Willingness to float as needed within the facility

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a PCU/stepdown setting
• Monitor and assess patients with diagnoses such as CHF, atrial fibrillation with RVR, chest pain, post-cardiac cath, and post-MI conditions
• Titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips according to unit protocols
• Interpret telemetry rhythms, monitor hemodynamic status, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and coordinate ongoing care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support patient flow by floating to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units when needed
• Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic
• Promote a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
