Join a leading healthcare organization as a PCU Registered Nurse in Spokane, WA! We are seeking dedicated and skilled nurses to provide exceptional care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and titrate cardiac drips as a hardstop requirement.
  • Float between units as needed; travelers will float to Tele or MS floors if overstaffed.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU/Step Down unit.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of PCU/Step Down nursing experience required.
  • Cardiac drip experience is mandatory.
  • Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
  • Candidates may choose one holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas), but not both.

Facility Highlights:

  • Total Staffed Beds: 629
  • Teaching Hospital with a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
  • Charting system: Epic.
  • Scrub Color: All RN colors allowed.
  • No parking fees.
