TLC Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.
15E James - Acute Leukemia and Hematology - 12 Hour D/N or 12 Hour Nights- NO CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!!!
First Time travelers: Screen to client for review
Experience: Overall 2 years of acute care nursing exp, with atleast 1 year of PCU experience
Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
Staffing Ratios: Goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
Weekends: Variable based on unit needs
If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
Special Focus:
• Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols
• Patient falls prevention
Certifications Required:
• BLS
• ACLS

•ONS Chemo Cert
• NIHSS

• MS/Tele
• Telemetry
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
