Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required. 13-week assignment through February 1, 2027. Patient ratios 1:4-5. May float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units when overstaffed.

• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• Candidates may choose either Thanksgiving or Christmas off (not both); must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient diagnoses including CHF, Afib RVR, chest pain, post-cardiac catheterization, and traditional medical-surgical patients

Requirements:

• Active Washington state or Compact RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care unit or stepdown nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic charting system experience required
• Essential skill: Must have demonstrated experience managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips (hardstop requirement)
• Experience with 1:4-5 patient ratios preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
