Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a PCU/MedSurg Float position requiring PA or compact RN licensure and telemetry certifications.

Details

• Float role covering both PCU and MedSurg departments as needed
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• No block scheduling available
• No on-call requirements
• 25 beds on each unit
• PCU patient ratio is 5:1 and MedSurg ratio is 7:1
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Required to work every other weekend and holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

• Provide nursing care across PCU and MedSurg units based on staffing needs
