• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

• Patient Population: Adult PCU patients, including transplant-related care

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit or step-down nursing experience
• Current RN license in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred or required
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills and IV start experience
• Ability to float to equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed
• Comfort working with adult patients in a transplant-focused PCU environment
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Progressive Care Unit patients
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV starts and maintain peripheral and central line care as needed
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Support patients recovering from kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants, along with other complex medical conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Float within the organization to comparable or lower-acuity units when assigned
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy, team-oriented hospital environment
