Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• PCU, stepdown, or telemetry nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotation
• Comfortable floating to other inpatient units within the organization as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to care for adult patients with mixed acuity levels

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to adult patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Manage cardiac drips, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive respiratory support
• Administer blood products, IV therapies, and insulin protocols as ordered
• Care for central lines, PICC lines, ports, chest tubes, and feeding tubes
• Support patients with wound care, tracheostomy care, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Float to other units within the organization based on patient care needs
