• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule period
• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry / Progressive Care

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry, telemetry nursing, or progressive care experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong telemetry interpretation, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia management skills
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float as needed within the system
• Comfortable using any electronic health record (EHR) or electronic charting system
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or other formal leader
• Must be able to complete required credentialing steps promptly prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence and accuracy
• Administer and titrate IV insulin and insulin drips per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support rapid response and code situations when needed
• Maintain safe, timely care for patients with complex diagnoses, including oncology, respiratory, infectious, and post-surgical conditions
• Perform peripheral line care, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive airway support as indicated
• Follow isolation precautions and maintain strong attention to safety and infection prevention
• Float within the organization as required and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented healthcare environment
