Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Active compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience with charting systems required
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program preferred
• Strong cardiac stepdown, telemetry, and PCU experience preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float as needed
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a stepdown setting
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, IV therapy, and blood product administration as indicated
• Administer medications and titrate therapies per protocol
• Support patients with complex diagnoses and post-surgical care needs
• Perform wound care, drain management, and other specialized bedside interventions
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response, and physical therapy
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all unit and safety protocols
