• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Float: May float to other areas if not needed on the home unit
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Must be able to pass a telemetry test
• BLS and ACLS required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience monitoring telemetry patients preferred
• Strong clinical background in stepdown, progressive care, or med-surg telemetry settings
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage complex treatment plans
• Care for post-surgical, medical, and overflow patients including bariatric and colorectal surgery cases
• Support blood product administration, IV therapy, and line management as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, PT, IV team, and rapid response
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain high standards of patient safety
• Float to other areas within the system when needed based on patient care demands
• Contribute to a supportive, team-based environment focused on excellent outcomes
