• Experience Level: 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float: May float to other areas if not needed on the home unit
• Compliance: Must meet strict pre-start credentialing timelines

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Ability to pass a telemetry test
• Experience monitoring telemetry patients preferred
• Epic experience required
• Strong skills in PCU, MS/Tele, or step-down nursing
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric populations
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 leadership reference
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to post-surgical and progressive care patients
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support patients with general medicine and surgical recovery needs
• Manage IV therapies, central line care, blood products, and insulin protocols as needed
• Perform wound care, drain management, and non-invasive airway support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, PT, and rapid response resources
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Float as needed to support similar acuity areas within the facility
• Work every other weekend and contribute to a reliable night shift schedule
