Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in a PCU, telemetry, stepdown, or similar monitored setting
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition skills
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
• Ability to start and maintain IVs and manage peripheral lines
• Epic experience preferred
• Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Professional references required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a monitored progressive care environment
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with confidence and clinical judgment
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and collaborate with the care team to manage dysrhythmias
• Administer medications, including insulin infusions and other ordered therapies, safely and accurately
• Support patients with oxygen therapy, IV access, isolation precautions, and other PCU-level needs
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, coordinated care
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a fast-paced travel assignment
