Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a PCU, telemetry, progressive care, or stroke-focused setting
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort caring for neurological and stroke patients
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float as needed based on competency

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality care to PCU patients with telemetry and stroke-related needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Perform comprehensive assessments and collaborate with the care team on patient plans
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Support patient education, mobility, and recovery goals throughout the shift
• Float to other areas where competency has been demonstrated when needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment that supports excellent patient outcomes
