Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Step-Down/PCU night shift position requiring at least 2 years of recent telemetry/PCU experience and a compact or NC RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Step-Down/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Step-Down/PCU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Current NIH Stroke Certification required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac step-down patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
