Description

American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a night shift position requiring cardiac telemetry experience and a NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting with 1:5 patient ratios
• Cardiac telemetry patient population requiring dysrhythmia management and interpretation
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to other Cone Health campuses as needed

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Experience with PCU-level patient ratios required
• Peripheral line care/management and PICC line management experience required
• Experience titrating drips required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include management and interpretation of dysrhythmias, peripheral and PICC line care, and titration of drips
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, with no local rate option
