Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring cardiac telemetry experience and NC/compact RN licensure.

Details

• PCU/Cardiac Telemetry unit setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 1:5 patient ratio
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed between all Cone Health campuses
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Experience with PCU ratios required
• Experience in management and interpretation of dysrhythmias required
• Peripheral line and PICC line care/management experience required
• Experience titrating drips required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed) regardless of specialty

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for cardiac telemetry and PCU patients, including dysrhythmia management and drip titration
• Perform peripheral and PICC line care and management
• Subject to float between all Cone Health campuses as needed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
