Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
• Neuroscience nursing experience preferred
• Comfort working in an acute care med-surg/telemetry environment
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Outgoing, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as a Telemetry RN in an inpatient setting
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Perform and document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient education
• Carry out common unit procedures such as Foley insertion and IV starts
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and support staff to maintain safe, effective care
• Float to other med-surg floors as needed
• Follow unit guidelines, documentation standards, and established nursing protocols
• Adapt quickly to a busy, patient-centered acute care environment
