**Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Location: Asheville, NC - Floor: K7 - Building: K Tower - Number of Beds: 44 beds - Number of Staff: 95 - **Team Structure:** - **Day Shift:** - 2 CNC/Charge Nurses - 11 RNs - 4 CNAs - 1 HUC - **Night Shift:** - 2 CNC/Charge Nurses - 11 RNs - 4 CNAs - 1 HUC - **Patient Ratios:** - 4:1 at grid - 5:1 stretched - **Equipment Utilized:** - IV pumps - Skylift - PCA pump - Chest tubes - Trachs - Patient lifts - **EMR System:** - Cerner - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Must Have:** - ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications - Neuro and Trauma Care experience - **Preferred Skills:** - Additional Neuro and Trauma Care experience - **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Neuro and spinal checks - C-Collar placement, TLSO braces - Chest tube management - PCA pump and IV infusion administration - Lumbar drain placement - Feeding tube placement - Blood transfusions - **Best Personality Fit:** - Team player - Patient-focused - **Floating Areas:** - Stepdown units - Med-surg units - **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Navy blue - **Scheduling:** - Every other weekend **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
