Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU/IMCU RN for a night shift float pool position requiring cardiac experience and BLS/ACLS certification at a Level 1 trauma center.

Details

• Float pool position covering all PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Cares for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P cases
• Manages cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Uses Epic EMR
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling is not typically approved

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sized facility required
• High-acuity, large-volume trauma hospital experience required
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations in high-pressure trauma environments required
• Epic EMR experience required
