Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care/Intermediate Coronary Care position requiring at least 2 years of PCU experience in a high-acuity trauma center.

Details

• Work in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Cases include STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain patients
• Administers cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity levels
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend work required, approximately 4 shifts per month
• Block scheduling generally not approved

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience in a similarly sized facility
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma environments required
• Proven background managing complex, fast-paced critical care cases required

• Provide progressive/intermediate cardiac care in a Level 1 trauma center handling complex and severe cases
