Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.

Assignment Details
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse
- Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Schedule: 3×12 Hours
- Hours: 36 Hours/Week
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience
- Previous Charge RN and Teaching Hospital experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Additional Information
- Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun)
- Floating: Required within scope to PCU, MS/Tele, Cardiac Tele, Neuro Stepdown, ER Holding, and related units
- Locals: Not accepted (must live 75+ miles from the facility)
- Pending License: Not accepted
- RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract
- Block Scheduling: Not available
Preferred Skills
- Accessing implanted ports
- Chemotherapy monitoring
- Previous cardiac and neuro step-down experience
