Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with compact or Washington eligibility in hand at time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required; 3 years of experience preferred
• Recent U.S. hospital experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• ACLS and NIHSS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong background caring for adult and geriatric patients in step-down, telemetry, or med-surg settings
• Comfortable with patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care for a varied patient population, including progressive care, telemetry, and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, IV management, line care, and other step-down nursing interventions
• Float between designated inpatient units based on staffing and patient needs
• Take on charge nurse responsibilities when assigned, including staffing coordination, bed flow, and general unit support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication with the care team
• Adapt to changing unit needs while delivering reliable, compassionate nursing care
