Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Prior charge nurse experience is required
• US clinical experience required
• Active compact or Washington state RN license in hand at submission
• ACLS and NIHSS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience managing a variety of telemetry, stepdown, and medical-surgical patient needs
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, IV management, and respiratory support preferred
• Must be comfortable floating between progressive care, telemetry, and medical-surgical units as needed
• Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to progressive care and stepdown patients
• Float to support PCU, MS/Tele, and Med Surg units based on hospital needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage telemetry, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer and monitor therapies such as IV medications, oxygen support, and blood products as appropriate
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes
• Perform core charge nurse duties when assigned, including staffing coordination and bed flow support
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication across care teams
• Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows
• Support a collaborative, fast-moving team focused on exceptional patient care
