Key Responsibilities

• Float to all PCU/IMCU floors as part of a dedicated float pool, serving a cardiac patient population
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3–4, providing progressive care to patients with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for patients with lower acuity levels
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar-sized acute care facility
• Experience in a PCU, IMCU, or stepdown setting with cardiac patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing cardiac drips and hemodynamically complex patients
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Prior float pool experience in a high-volume acute care environment
