• Shift: 10-hour day/evening shifts, typically 4x10 schedule (10:30 AM–9:00 PM)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990–$2,090
• Charting System: EPIC
• Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or compact license in hand at submission
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Prior PACU, pre-op, post-op, outpatient surgery, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia recognition, pain management, conscious sedation, and post-anesthesia recovery care
• EPIC experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical and perioperative nursing environment
• Comfort with floating as needed within nearby sister facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate post-anesthesia recovery care for surgical and procedural patients
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall recovery progression
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Support recovery for patients undergoing vascular, general, orthopedic, pediatric, urology, gynecology, neuro/spine, thoracic, trauma, bariatric, ENT, oral, plastics, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with discharge instructions and medication reconciliation
• Interpret lab values, obtain and review procedural consent, and reinforce pre-op and post-op education
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary support teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility and ASPAN standards
