Physical Therapist Outpatient in a healthcare setting. This position involves providing outpatient rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population, including post-operative, orthopedic, sports, geriatrics, and mobility patients, with a focus on fast-paced environment adaptability and effective communication with staff.
Job Details
- Position Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist
- Location: Healthcare setting in the region represented by the organization
- Schedule: 8-Hour Days, Monday Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Florida license as a Physical Therapist, Bachelors degree in Rehabilitation Therapy, experience seeing post-operative patients, and experience working with adult outpatient populations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient care experience with adult patients, familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR), strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Responsibilities include working with two Physical Therapy Assistants, designing appropriate patient care plans, and treating general orthopedic, sports, geriatrics, post-operative, and mobility impairment cases.
- Interview: Unit Manager Interview
- Required Compliance: Florida ACHA processing may take up to 14 business days, no RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment, and a maximum of 8 days RTO allowed for a 13-week contract.
- Additional Information: Experience seeing post-op patients is REQUIRED and must be clearly stated in work history.
