Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of inpatient OR experience and competency in at least 5 surgical specialties.

Details

• Work in a 17-room Operating Room staffed 24/7 within surgical services
• Surgical specialties include general, GYN, GU, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pedi, trauma, and spine
• 12-hour AM/DN rotating shifts with start times of 7am and 7pm, 3x12s for 36 hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend required as needed
• Every other holiday required
• One call shift per schedule period
• May float to Moakley OR as needed

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Scrub experience required
• Must be competent in at least 5 of the listed surgical specialties
• Preferred experience in neuro, vascular, general, GYN, and GU beyond scrub duties
• Two professional references required, including one at the manager level with a performance evaluation
• One reference evaluation must be within the last 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and surgical support across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Requires a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
• Previous permanent staff at this facility are not eligible for this travel position
