Join our team as an Operating Room RN at a leading acute-care hospital in Boston, MA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on surgical services across various specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, demonstrating competence in at least five of the following specialties: general, gynecological, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngology, bariatric, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine.
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including day and evening shifts, and be available for on-call duties as required.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Previous scrub experience is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in neuro and vascular surgery is highly desirable.
• Competence in scrubbing for general, gynecological, and genitourinary surgeries is preferred.
