Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week days assignment requiring 24+ months of OR experience and proficiency with DaVinci, Mako, and Rosa robotic systems.
Details
- Operating Room unit in a regional hospital setting
- Days shift, Monday through Friday, 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (no block scheduling)
- Call requirements include 1 night per week and up to 1 weekend per month
- Uses Epic EMR
- Robotics equipment includes DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa systems, with approximately 80% of total joint cases utilizing Mako or Rosa
Requirements
- Active IA RN license or compact/multistate license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum of 24 months of current Operating Room experience required
- Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics required
- Proficient experience in Orthopedics including Total Joints required
- Proficient experience in general surgery required
- Spine experience within the previous 12 months required
- Travel nursing experience within the previous 15 months required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Mako or Rosa equipment experience required
- Scrub experience preferred
- Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nursing required for consideration
- Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties in a high-volume Operating Room
- Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) unless the unit is closed
- Limited time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and Winter holiday periods
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates who were previously employed by the health system as FTE or PRN float pool staff are ineligible to work travel assignments at any facility within the market
- Candidates who previously worked travel assignments at this health system are not subject to the separation policy
