Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of experience and an AZ or compact RN license with call responsibilities.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Performs a wide range of surgical procedures including gynecologic, orthopedic, general surgery, urology, bariatric, thoracic, trauma, and robotic-assisted cases
• Schedule consists of 4x10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call and late call requirements with an estimated 5-6 shifts per month depending on staffing needs

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Meditech charting experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, thoracic, urologic, and robotic surgery
• Experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is a plus
• Minimal to no RTO around holidays, as holiday coverage is required
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before being considered as travelers
• Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at the same pay rate
• Travel pairs are accepted
