Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Oregon City, OR 97045

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Oregon City, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00). On-call required: 100 hours per 4-week schedule. Weekend on-call standby required. Patient ratio 1:1. Assignment duration: 13 weeks.

Highlights:

  • Short-term acute care facility with 109 beds and 6 operating room suites
  • Surgical focus: 70% orthopedic and spine procedures including total joints, arthroscopic surgery, and spine fusions; also general surgery, gynecological procedures, cystoscopy, and plastics
  • Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • Daily census of approximately 20 cases across 6 OR suites serving adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
  • Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Robotics and specialized orthopedic equipment
  • May float to other regional facilities based on unit needs and skill sets

Requirements:

  • Active Oregon or Compact RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Strong circulating RN experience required across all specialties offered, with demonstrated expertise in orthopedic and spine procedures (must have advanced proficiency in ortho/spine as this represents the majority of surgical volume)
  • Experience with total joint replacements, spinal fusions, arthroscopy, laminectomy/discectomy, general surgery, gynecological procedures, and laparoscopic procedures
  • Scrub experience is beneficial but circulating experience is essential
  • Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
  • Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
