Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (shift times vary between 06:45-19:15 or 09:00-21:30). Weekend coverage required. Call limited to coverage for call-offs only. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 407-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center
• Work with advanced surgical technology including XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor Robot Spine systems
• Diverse case mix including trauma, bariatric, orthopedic/spine, neurosurgery, gynecology, ENT, vascular, and pediatric procedures
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including lift teams, interpretation services, and pharmacy
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Free parking and scrubs provided

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required (must be in hand for immediate consideration)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
