Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring DaVinci robotics experience and expertise across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• 13-week assignment in a hospital Surgery unit
• Monday through Friday schedule, 06:30-15:00, with flexibility
• Call requirements based on department needs, currently 1-2 weekday night call shifts per week
• Required to work 2 weekend days per 4-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required for Christmas Eve
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required experience with DaVinci robotics
• Required experience in orthopedics including total joints, sports medicine, and spine
• Required experience in urology and general surgery
• Required experience in endoscopy including EGD and colonoscopies
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• Only one submission permitted per Ascension system-wide position
• Travelers should discuss assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
