Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with 2+ years of General OR experience across multiple surgical specialties for a day shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the General OR unit of an acute and sub-acute care hospital
• Cases span GYN, bariatric, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics specialties
• Day shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
• On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
• Must be willing to work the facility's schedule with no restrictions

Requirements

• Active MD RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent General OR experience required
• Experience required in GYN, bariatric, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics procedures
• Previous travel experience required
• Proof of COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted
• Resume with all employment gaps over 30 days clearly explained
• One supervisory reference from the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months
• OR-specific skills checklist required
• RN license verification (Nursys) less than 30 days old
