Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent OR experience and a compact or Colorado RN license.

Details

• Main OR unit within a 284-bed hospital with approximately 55 staff members
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech (may vary)
• Night shift staffing includes 1 RN, 1 Tech, plus 2 RN and 2 Tech on-call
• Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 to 1:2 and never guaranteed
• Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment
• EMR system is Meditech / CPN
• On-call required from 5PM-11PM Monday through Friday with a 30-minute response time
• No overnight on-call required
• Performs Vascular/Hybrid OR, Trauma, and Neuro procedures

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or Colorado state license required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience required
• Robotics experience highly preferred and given priority
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience in large Trauma OR facilities preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
