Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN to administer chemotherapy in an outpatient hematology-oncology clinic, requiring a GA or compact RN license and chemo certification.

Details

• Outpatient hematology-oncology clinic setting
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-4:30pm
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required with ability to administer chemotherapy
• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology experience required
• Trauma Level 1, oncology, or ICU experience preferred

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy treatments to oncology patients in a clinic setting
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning staff previously employed permanently must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
