Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Oncology for a Radiation Oncology setting requiring recent oncology experience and chemotherapy administration certification.

Details

• Radiation Oncology outpatient setting
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
• Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, varies
• 40 guaranteed hours weekly
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Must be able to administer chemotherapy
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in oncology specialty required

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning staff who previously worked permanently at this facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
