Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology Infusion position requiring 2 years of ambulatory oncology infusion experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in an ambulatory/outpatient oncology and medical infusion center with 27 chairs
• Unit treats a mix of oncology and medical infusion regimens, including solid tumor and hematologic malignancies
• Full-time schedule with 10-hour shifts from 07:00-17:30
• 13-week assignment
• Site located 8 miles west of Boston with free onsite parking for travelers
• Uses Epic for charting
• Car required to commute to site

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of ambulatory oncology infusion unit experience required
• Peripheral IV experience required
• Experience with solid tumor, hematologic, and medical infusion regimens required
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Provide direct patient care in a busy oncology and medical infusion setting
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston to be considered for the local candidate rate
