Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Occasional schedule changes with prior approval only

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients, with expected caseloads of 4–6 patients per day and 6–6.5 hours of patient care daily in sessions ranging from 30–120 minutes
• Treat patients presenting with complex conditions including chest tubes/JP drains, wound vacs, and trachs/PEGs
• Utilize available equipment including Hoyer lifts, LiteGait, Sara Stand, and standard PT/OT equipment to support patient mobility and rehabilitation goals
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Demonstrate flexible scheduling to accommodate patient care needs
• Float to acute care as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Texas Occupational Therapy License
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic inpatient environment
• Willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday schedule and cover 1 major and 1 minor holiday if they fall within the assignment rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Neuro rehabilitation experience
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar hospital EMR systems
