Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for an inpatient rehabilitation unit requiring a heavy weekend rotation.

Details

• Inpatient acute care hospital setting within Rehabilitation Services
• 175-bed facility with a therapy team of approximately 60 providers including PT, OT, SLP, PTA, and COTA staff
• 4-day, 10-hour rotating shift schedule including weekends
• Daily patient ratio of 8-10 patients
• Weekend requirement of 2-3 weekends per month, including Saturdays and Sundays
• EPIC EMR system used

Requirements

• Active OT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Independent working style preferred

Additional Information

• Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting work
• Olive/light green scrubs required as part of dress code
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
