Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Anchorage, Alaska.

Details

  • Rehabilitation Services unit within a 175-bed inpatient acute care hospital
  • Interdisciplinary therapy team of 60 providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
  • Schedule includes 4x10-hour days or an 8/5 rotating schedule, including weekends
  • Shift options of 7:30AM-6:00PM or 7:30AM-4:00PM
  • Weekend rotation required, approximately 2-3 weekends per month including Saturdays and Sundays
  • Daily patient ratio of 8-10 patients
  • EMR system used is Epic
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • , 2+ years of clinical experience required
  • Acute care experience required
  • OT certification required for this assignment
  • License required if applicable
  • Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting
