    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Telemetry (Tele) – Nights

    Location

    Tucson, AZ | Progressive Care / Step-Down Unit

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week | Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

    Key Responsibilities
    • Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care in a PCU/Telemetry step-down environment
    • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; perform various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse scope of practice
    • Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and demonstrate familiarity with TAVR and Watchman/Mitraclip procedures at a minimum
    • Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
    • Float between multiple facilities as required — this is a Float Pool position; must be willing to float between departments across four affiliated facilities in the Tucson area
    • Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Arizona (AZ) Registered Nurse (RN) license required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Cerner EMR experience required
    • Minimum 2 years of PCU/Telemetry or step-down nursing experience
    • Must be willing and able to float between departments and multiple affiliated facilities
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Experience managing cardiac drips and caring for patients post-TAVR or Watchman/Mitraclip procedures
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool or multi-facility setting
