    Job Title

    Telemetry Registered Nurse – Travel Contract

    Location

    Tampa, FL | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients presenting with conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, abdominal pain, syncope, altered mental status, UTI, and ESRD/dialysis
    • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, identifying and responding to rhythm changes or clinical deterioration
    • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • May float to other Medical/Surgical areas as needed based on unit staffing requirements
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid in the state of Florida or through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Demonstrated experience in a Telemetry or cardiac monitoring nursing setting
    • Ability to interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings
    • No call requirement for this assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for patients with heart failure, ESRD/dialysis, or COPD exacerbations
    • Comfort floating to Medical/Surgical units when needed
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care environment
