    Telemetry Registered Nurse – Travel Contract

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week | No Call Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit managing a diverse patient population including heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and shortness of breath
    • Monitor and assess patients presenting with conditions such as COPD exacerbation, GI bleed/abdominal pain, syncope, altered mental status, UTI, and ESRD/dialysis needs
    • Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Float to other Medical/Surgical areas as needed based on unit staffing requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or a compact state license
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Prior experience in a Telemetry or Medical/Surgical setting
    • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
    • Willingness and ability to float to other Medical/Surgical areas as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, or ESRD/dialysis
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and cardiac rhythm interpretation
    • Previous travel nursing experience in a similar acute care setting
