Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, monitoring and managing patients with conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and shortness of breath
- Care for patients presenting with COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, abdominal pain, syncope, altered mental status, and UTI
- Monitor and support patients with ESRD requiring dialysis
- Interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
- Float to other Medical/Surgical areas as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or a compact state license
- Current telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience
- No on-call requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience caring for heart failure, arrhythmia, or ESRD/dialysis patient populations
- Comfort floating to Medical/Surgical units
- Previous travel nursing experience
